Healthy Lactation Brownie Recipe
Lactation Brownies are a yummy and easy way to enhance your milk production while satisfying those sweet cravings. Our latest recipe is colic friendly and full of delicious nutritionally dense ingredients to nourish your postpartum body and support your supply!
INGREDIENTS
- ¾ cup oat flour
- ½ cup Lactation Hot Chocolate
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup avocado oil
- ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¾ cup chocolate chips, plus more for topping
METHOD
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line with baking paper
- In a large bowl whisk together eggs, avocado oil, maple syrup, applesauce and vanilla extract
- Pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix until just combined
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Transfer mixture to the prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until brownies are set in the centre and a toothpick comes out clean
- Let brownies cool completely (they’re much tastier cool).
- Cut into squares and enjoy!
